   I have to admit SU has one of the best bands out there. I don't think there are many if any that can play power song cleaner or better. There are only 2 area I think need noticeable improvement.
   
   1) Volume transitions in Ballads and ballads in the style of a ballad.. In the song 'No body suppose to be here' there is only 2 volumes (soft and loud). The song wasn't really played in the style of a ballad. The ASU replied with had a better ballad feel. It was much warmer. This brings me to my second point.
   
   2) Woodwinds. I am not sure it is the arrangement of the number of woodwinds but in most of the videos I have seen of the great band, I never can hear the woodwinds. I played tuba through my college career and have many jokes about woodwinds but in certain styles of music there are essential. This is a major whole that the band as when trying to play songs that should have a warm feel. It is hard to ask 50+ trumpets to play below 20 saxophones.
   
   You all definitely beat ASU and can beat just about every band you play especially if they keep you all in your musical comfort zone.
   
   In this battle both bands played the all music in the correct style and you can hear all the instrumentation on the Gospel and Ballads. I only mention this because you most other style music down to a science and this were another band could edge you all out.
